Vehicle Detail
1 owner, myself, Overall good condition, mechanically never had any problems, regular oil changes and service. The van does have scratches in several places, some are pictured. In a few places at the bottom of the doors, some minor scratches but minivan has never been wrecked. Interior floor in the back was redone by a neighbor with rubberized floor, carpet had been pulled up by my wheelchair. As far as I'm aware, everything is in good working order inside the van. In 5 years, I have had several problems with the door & ramp, all have been worked on by Adaptive Driving in Houston Texas. The door still has an issue every once in a while, I can't make the door "not work" even to produce a video. I cycled the door 10 times this afternoon and never had a problem. I have been told it probably needs new motor for the door which is a $400 part and roughly $400 to install. Not that I didn't want to fix, just didn't want to give up my van for a couple days and the dealership is 40 miles away, so more laziness on my part than anything else. :-) Battery is approximately 1-year-old, 2 tires are 1-year-old, 2 tires are 2 years old. I added a towing package a few years ago so that we can use a small carrier for luggage, lift, etc. when going on vacation or trips. I have more pictures and will be happy to email any of those 2 perspective buyers. I also have video of the door working which I'm going to upload to YouTube. This makes no sense, but the only real time I have problems with the ramp door is in cold temperatures. I hope I am exaggerating the problem with the door, I cannot re-create the problem even at the dealership which is the real reason I have not fixed it. I am in the process of having an easy lock put in my new minivan, once that is installed, I will most likely take this van to do ship and have them fix the door. Kelly Blue Book for the van using "good" condition shows a value of $15,162. The original cost of the VMI conversion was over $17,000, I am using half of that $8500 to arrive at selling price of $22,662. Please feel free to message or call me with questions at 832-363-7076. I do have the van for sale locally and reserve the right to cancel the auction at any time.
