Vehicle Detail
1983 Honda C70 Passport in factory stock and original condition with an actual 602 miles. This C70 has had 3 owners from new before me and its survived 35 years original and intact! It remains just as it left the factory with the exception of the following replacement maintenance and service parts: Michelin "Gazelle" tires 17 x 2.50 rear / 17 x 2.25 front & the inner-tubes.New old-stock O.E.M fuel tank New old-stock O.E.M center stand New old-stock O.E.M leg shield fastening bolts and spacers New old-stock O.E.M headlightNew O.E.M air filter New O.E.M style 12 V battery (kept on battery maintainer) not included New O.E.M rear tail light, dash light and neutral light bulb. This bike was stored indoors by the last owner of 7 years, and I would guess it always has been as the chrome is almost like new; likewise the cables, paintwork, frame, seat vinyl, seat baseā¦even the wheel spokes for example have zero corrosion on them. Everything works as designed including the electric start which fires it up to a smooth low idle right away; note the 1983 model has a 12 volt system so the electric start, horn and turn signals all work strong unlike the older 6 volt versions. It rides like a 600 mile Honda should (I get an easy 45mph on the flat @157lb's) and people seem to love it as it gets smiles and nods of approval whenever I ride it. I don't have the owner's manual but it does have the original tool kit plus the original white wire front basket (not pictured) I removed it for a cleaner look. This classic and original 1983 C70 Passport appears to need nothing and it comes with a clear Texas title, its ready to ride but nice enough to store as an appreciating piece of basement art. It is located in the St. Louis area so please check your shipping costs don't make the total cost too high for you before you bid, thanks for looking at my advertisement.
