For sale is a 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 5.9L. The Jeep Grand Cherokee was equipped with the 5.9 L engine for only one year. These trucks continue to become harder and harder to find. This truck has very minimal rust. The doors have some rust beginning along the bottom seam. The body itself is in very good condition especially for a 1998 Jeep. The engine runs strong and will run strong for a very long time. The transmission and four wheel drive is also solid and good working condition. This truck does need some mechanical repairs. It is currently in need of exhaust from the catalytic converter on back. I also needs a new wheel bearing om the front driver side as that bearing is making a bit of noise at this time. Aside from those two needs it is in good operable condition. It presents normal wear and tear for a vehicle 20 years old. It is a potential collector and a fine vehicle for a hobbyist seeking the 5.9 L Jeep. In the past three years, the headliner has been re-covered and reinforced, the stereo and all speakers have been replaced. The front differential has bene rebuilt, the shocks all around have been replaced, tie rods and breaks have all been serviced. The alternator and water pump have also been replaced as well as the harmonic balancer.
