Vehicle Detail

I have forsale my tropical yellow 1989 Mustang coupe. Let me start off by saying that if you are looking for a perfect car this is not the car for you. It has its fair share of dents and scratches but presents itself fairly well for its age. The engine and transmission are in good running order, it could benefit from a tune up. The transmission shifts very nice and firm the few miles I drove it. (Was going to do a 5.0 swap). I haven't put more than 5 miles on the car since I have owned it so I cant tell you how it does at freeway speeds or anything like that, the only mechanical issue that I am aware of is the electric fan does not work, didn't really look into it much because I was going to take it out anyways. The tires aren't in the best of shape and it may have a small vacuum leak. The A/C doesn't work and I'm not sure if it will because there is no belt on it currently. I put a brand new battery in the car as well. The body is in pretty good shape for its age, the only real issue is the driver side fender has quite a few dents from the previous owner but isn't anything structural. The car looks mostly original with a little bit of paint work here and there. The paint still shines up pretty nice. I installed new headlights and new window trim. The weather stripping needs to be replaced. All the glass looks to be original and in good condition. The car is very solid, no rust! The shock towers look great and so do the bottoms of the doors and floor pans. The torque boxes look nice from what I could see as well. This is a very good candidate for a v8 swap. The interior is in pretty good shape, everything is pretty much original from what I can tell. The ashtray door doesn't like to stay open like most of them and the brake light is on in the cluster. The driver side seat has a rip in the bolster and that's why the front seats have seat covers on them. Has new floor mats and the carpet underneath looks really good for the original carpet. The aftermarket radio is intermittent. All in all this car is a pretty nice little car, its getting harder and harder to find unmolested stock cars in good shape, and if you wanted to you could fix the fan and drive it that way. Or you could swap it and have a nice v8 coupe that isn't beat up. I have the car listed locally and reserve the right to end the auction at any time. There is a non-refundable $200 deposit due 48hours after the auction has ended. All sales are final, NO WARRANTIES. This is a no reserve auction so good luck and happy bidding!
