The 535i e28 is considered by many as the original super sedan built by BMW, known for outstanding performance balanced by timeless styling and luxury. This car is finished in a striking Bronzit Beige Metallic with an immaculate matching interior. This 535i has been very well taken care of by 2 long time owners and has had thousands of dollars of mechanical work done in the past few years. Within the last 45 days alone the following work has been done, new battery, starter, oil change/oil filter, motor mounts, cemtral locking system repaired, vacuum hoses repaired, door latch repaired, ground wires repaired. I will provide the records of these repairs plus records for the past 3 years to the winning bidder. I will also supply maintenance records done while the vehicle was under warranty by BMW. This BMW 535i shows very nicely and runs well. All power equipment including windows, and central locking system are in good operating condition even the power headrests work! Mechanically this car is in good condition. The paint is in good condition and shines nicely the roof could use a bit of a buff in a spot or two. There are a few not overly noticeable dings and nicks which could be described as normal for a 30 year old vehicle. The car is very rust free on the body and underbody. The leather seats are in good condition with no ripped seams or tears with the leather being recently reconditioned. The knobs//switches move freely and easily. There is a very small and not very noticeable crack on the dashboard. The heater and AC work as you would expect in this vehicle. The car rides on almost new Continental Tires with BMW RX Wheels helping to give this car a unique and very appealing stance. It is showing a little over 135,000 miles on the odometer, however just as in many older BMW's the odometer no longer works. I would estimate that the mileage is close to accurate as the car has not been driven much at all over the past 1.5 years and I have service records acknowledging mileage. The original radio and speakers could use a freshening up. Though the brakes were done a few years back I find them a bit on the mushy side. This 535i drives straight with no pull to the left or right. Accelerates off the line with no hesitation and has no problems cruising at highway speeds. If you have been shopping for an e28 you know how rare affordable, running, non-rusty models are to locate. This 535i is priced to sell.
