Located in Los Angeles, CA. Are you looking to restore this beautiful and rare 1965 "Special Landau" Ford Thunderbird , offered in the Spring of 1965. The chrome, including both bumpers, the grille, and many of the trim pieces that make these cars so wonderful to look at. The interior is in good condition, with comfortable buckets flanking a stylish center console and enough room in back for three. The swing-away steering wheel is a neat option. The trunk is downright massive. The gauges are clearly inspired by aircraft design, with a wide speedometer with big numbers and a row of individual auxiliary gauges underneath. The factory AM/FM radio is still fully operational .The only engine in 1965 was a 4-barrel 390. The big V8 and surrounding engine bay is in good order. Power steering and power front disc brakes were standard equipment as well, and with the 3-speed automatic. Vehicle is running, but does need work. Has title & current registration.
