At the inception of the Touareg concept, VW set out to design and build a SUV to compete with BMW X5 on the road and Range Rover off-road. They achieved it! Then in the revamped Touareg 2, they perfected it! This is one SUV not only can tackle the occasional off-road and snow with ease, but it handles like its on rails! I do most highway commutes, boy do I love the stability and handling of this SUV at high speed. On windy days, you don't feel the cross wind at all!Some of the spectacular features include power everything, leather everywhere, Bi-Xenon cornering auto-leveling HID headlamps with additional cornering headlight (IMO this vehicle has the BEST cornering headlights!), heated/electric folding side mirrors with turn signals, tinted sunroof with vent visor, front/rear parking sensors, heated front seats, memory power seats (can be synced to the keys), dual zone automatic climate control, power rear lift gate (open & close), rear lift gate window can open separately, rear window sun shades, real-time display of individual tire pressure sensors, AC outlet (built in inverter), front side body/head airbags and side curtain protections.
