Up for your consideration is this rare 1954 Chevrolet truck with a factory Hydra-Matic transmission and power brakes. The truck is in excellent mechanical condition and has been thoroughly inspected, replacing or rebuilding many of its original components. The brake system has been entirely replaced including master cylinder, pads, lines, and cylinders. The rear axles have been replaced and all axle fluids changed as well. Inside the engine bay is a new water pump, new carburetor, new plugs, new battery, and all fluids have been changed as well as ethanol-free gasoline. A new muffler and tail pipe have also been installed to complete that sewing machine sound. The truck has minimal surface rust in different areas of the bed. Surface rust only - there is no rot on this truck. The cab is solid including the floors, original cab corners, and the infamous right rocker battery area. The bed of the truck is welded in metal and has a fresh new Rhino Liner that was professionally installed (not a Home Depot spray job). Moving to the interior of the classic you'll find new handles for the doors and windows, a new headliner, new door panels, new floor mat, and a newly upholstered seat. The speedometer does work sporatically as well as the gas gauge. The paint is driver quality and does have a spot on the hood that has peeled loose (zoom in on photos). I believe this truck to be painted around 20 years ago. This is an original unmolested example of the finest trucks General Motors ever produced. The state of Georgia does not issue titles on vehicles of this age. The vehicle comes with a State of Georgia Bill of Sale and a DMV registration.
