Ready to drive with the original drive train and rare factory options. Purchased by me from the third owner in Scottsdale Arizona late 2009. It has always been garaged and kept out of the weather. ORIGINAL OWNER/DEALER RETAIL PURCHASE ORDER FORM DATED 02/08/1966 LISTING FACTORY OPTIONS INCLUDED ALONG WITH ORIGINAL OWNER WARRANTY PROTECT-O-PLATE BOOKLET AND METAL CARD. Accident free survivor body with one repaint. Restored by third owner in 2005. It still is in pristine condition. A wonderful example of originality, appearance, paint and interior quality, along structural integrity and overall original condition. The trunk pan was professionally replaced during restoration and is rock solid but it has some light surface rust cause by condensation under vinyl trunk mat. GM expert says this was a common problem in early Chevelles. The hood corners (seen in photos of hood rear above the tension springs) recently started setting a little high when closed. I have a new set of GM hood springs in the box ready to install that go with the car. Hood lines straight and closes perfectly with minimal effort. Body lines straight, door and fender seams are all evenly spaced. Bottom rockers are solid and in great shape. The car left and right rear quarters does have the numbers on both rear quarter trunk lip (left and right side) photos available on request. I examined the left rear inside quarter panel and it appears to be all original, seams match. Looking at the right rear inside quarter panel, it appears to have been professionally replaced . The only flaw I noticed when I purchased it was the rear tail pan where it meets the back side of the rear bumper looks a little uneven. It was worked and painted though and looks good. Look up close at the pictures of that area and you might see it. If you want more photos, please let me know. Fully documented. Original power glide transmission, original wheels and original wheel covers. Original engine (T0207EKH-150801) restored to original GM specifications currently with less than 3k miles on it since full restoration of the engine, transmission, and body (Speedometer currently shows +20065 miles). The car's interior was completely restored to original condition. This beautiful Chevelle has many rare factory options. I am the fourth owner. This beauty has always been garaged kept and well maintained. It has original factory Posi-traction rear end (Chevrolet Protect-O-Plate show code CF0223B which would indicate 3:31 gear ratio). Consignment dealer that represented the previous owner I purchased it from advertised it as original posi-trac with 3:73 gears. The car has factory coil spring suspension. power steering, plus the original bucket seats, with SS console with T-Handle shift, SS badges, SS hood, SS gauges. Immaculate condition.
