Welcome! I am selling my 96 Sierra pickup. I acquired this truck about 5 years ago and it saddens me to sell it because I really enjoyed this truck. In the duration that I owned this truck I invested a lot of new parts into it. Within the past 1500 miles the following has been replaced: air filterfuel filterPenzoil Oil Change A/C delco alternator Starter assemblyRadiator Iridium Spark Plugs Plug WiresCapRotorPCV valveIntake Gaskets replaced Power Steering high pressure lineNew Battery (installed 1-2017)Serpentine BeltBelt TensionerWindshield GlassBack Glass resealed The powertrain of this truck is solid. The engine starts easy and runs smooth. There is a belt squeak upon cold startup. The transmission works fine and the four-wheel drive engages and works just the same.The interior of the truck is exceptionally clean for a truck over 20 years old. I purchased weather tech floor mats and they go with the truck. Everything inside the cab works. The power door locks and windows all work, cruise control, the radio and even the cassette player. The climate controls all work, both heat and A/C work perfectly.The exterior is in mixed condition. The truck has been buffed and polished. Most of the truck has glossy smooth paint while there are some issues primarily on the passenger side (i.e. rust passenger cab corner, tailgate, grayish blemish on passenger side panel). Beyond that, it has typical dings and dents you would expect. The chasis needs repair due to rust. Known issues include a broken leaf spring shackle,bed rails, rotted fuel tank mounts, LR frame-rail, crossmember (the one that holds the spare tire).Other known issues include drivers door pin needs replacing, and there is an ABS light on the dash due to a bad wheel hub/speed sensor. I will certainly miss this truck for it has served me well. I have contemplated having the truck repaired and restored however my priorities have changed. To conclude, overall this is a mechanically fit truck, but it has some frame issues. For this reason I recommend it be parted out and no longer driven.
