Vehicle Detail
Selling off our van project! Runs nicely but the body is horrible, needs rust work and a new seal around the raised top, or use it for what’s under the hood. Has all the original interior camper furniture, fridge, stove, heater, propane tank, sink, cabinets, shower area, water tank with working pump, etc., all working but needs a generous helping of TLC. Has the original side bed/bench with seat belts and has the slide out top bed with cushions too. Known problems besides the rust is the side door opens and closes but only if you hold the rail bar by hand to keep it on the rail... several parts were taken off for the body work we started (and never finished) but those parts are included: driver interior door panel and exterior and interior handles, button for back door handle, rear view mirror... . Alll the exterior parts, indicators and mirrors, etc. are good. Four matching rims, trim rings and caps are all there (spare is currently on driver’s side rear, but fourth yellow rim with cap and ring is included...). Engine cover fits but is pretty worn, dash is in surprisingly nice shape and the steering wheel is alright despite the precious owner’s dog chewing on it. We are the third owner: got it when it was 25 and have had it almost 20 years. Odometer has only 5 dials and reads ~43,000 but it rolled over and is actually 143,000 (or possibly 243,000 but don’t think so based on the history we were told by the second owner). Clean title, currently registered and inspected in NY state. Local pick up only. Happy bidding. On Nov-30-17 at 08:53:08 PST, seller added the following information: Details to add: for freight pick up, van is 17-18 feet long, 8-9 feet tall, and about 8 feet wide with the mirrors tucked. Added pictures of the dash just now. Forgot to mention, the gas tank was pressed in a little and the gauge works consistently but reads about 1/4 to 3/8 full when the tank is actually empty. When it gets to 1/2 I fill it up, it takes about 15 gallons now. We bought and still have an original G20 (from a ‘78) extra high capacity gas tank (about 22-23 gallons if memory serves) that’s sound and has a working gauge l, to replace the current tank with, but again, never got around to it. Not included in the auction but winning bidder, please ask if interested. Also have a spare matching original propane tank, although the propane tank on it is still working perfectly... was going to double the tanks up! Again. Please inquire.
