Normal 0 false false false EN-US JA X-NONE 1976 Pontiac Firebird Formula. Pontiac 350 V8 motor with 3 speed auto trans. Arizona car brought to Illinois in 2006. The car was restored on frame from October 2007 through June 2008 by previous owner. Stock except for headers, dual exhaust, and sony sound system. The entire suspension was replaced with OE parts. The top end was rebuilt and the cam was replaced in 2009. The car was completely restored at 100,000 miles. Odometer turned over shows 28,000 and change, works normally. All of the gauges on the car work except for the small clock that is in the tachometer and the fuel gauge sticks occasionally. The suspension is the only major drive-train part that has been replaced, but it has just been replaced by oem parts. The exhaust was changed from a y-pipe to a true dual exhaust. The gas tank was replaced. The stereo has been replaced by a sony head unit and two sony 6X9 3-way speakers in the package shelf. The carpet has been replaced, the rear seats have been recovered, and the front seats have been replaced with aftermarket seats that a bit more bolstering to them. The original motor for this car came with a 2 bbl carb but previous owner replaced that with a quadrajet. The car is from Arizona and was brought to Illinois in 2007. The car was stripped of paint and repainted in the original color of carousel red (looks orange) in early 2008. Normal wear and tear for a ten year old paint job, quarter panels are starting to bubble. The car was originally an A/C car but the A/C unit was removed, however all necessary dash board A/C parts are still in the car. The heat works great and has a new heater core in it.
