Vehicle Detail
Up for Auction is a 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo Sport Utility Vehicle 4-Door 4.0L NO RESERVE ! VEHICLE DESCRIPTION This is a well cared for Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. It is being put up for sale after the Probate Court process has been completed, which now allows the vehicle to be sold. The vehicle will come with legal paperwork and forms generated by a California County to obtain the title from any California DMV. The vehicle will come with it's California License Plates, with it's tags that are current through December of 2017. VEHICLE CONDITION The Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo has been road tested both on the highway and city roads. The vehicle has plenty of power and it handles well. The transmission shifts as it should, the brakes work as they should, power steering works well, as does the stereo, heater, a/c, and many other features including Cruise Control, Outside Temperature, Compass, Odometer, Tripometer, Gas Mileage etc etc. There are three way Front Seat Controls for comfort. A lot of other features including the back window going up and down by motor. The vehicle was maintained in California and that shows in it's rust free presentation. Examples of routine maintenance include alignment done at 112,000. Also, Rear Brake Pads were replaced, calipers were clean and lubricated including guide pins and rear brakes were bled. Tire pressure is set at 35psi. Wheel lugs were torqued to 85 ft/lbs. As you can see the vehicle could use a cleaning and there are wear issues consistent with a twenty year old vehicle on the inside and the outside but the man who owned it was nearly 90 years of age. I found a small repaired chip on the windshield about the size of a dime. I found a cracked turn indicator cover on the front right side. At times, the dimmer switch for the interior display needs to be jiggled to get full light. This may be a lose wire or the switch that makes the interior gauge lights bright vs. dark. All of the lights inside including various dome lights appear to work. The rear hatch back will go down unless a pole is placed under it. The pole is included and the repair would be inexpensive. The hood stays up without a pole and opens easily. The emergency brake works. The vehicle comes with a spare tire that was likely included from the manufacturer. I may have missed something but I did my best to explain this vehicle. Please see the numerous photos and feel free to ask questions. Thank you. California residents and residents of other States residents. They may be subject to tax, registration, and smog related fees. That will be their responsibility. We cannot know or begin to know the intricacies of the various bureaucracies that fund their very existence by adding taxes which they refer to as fees but indeed, they are taxes. Bidders. If you have less than 5 purchases on Ebay, we ask that you reply with a message and your phone number. We have the right to end the auction early and to sell locally. Ebay is a useful way to promote and list vehicles but we also will sell the vehicle through other modalities. If the vehicle sells outside of Ebay, we will immediately cancel the auction because of this. Thank you. You may be curious about all of this. It takes several hours to learn of vehicles that will come up for estate auction or surplus. It takes hours to visit and choose the best vehicles and values for the money. Then, we assess the vehicle and describe and answer questions. It is time consuming to respond to questions, show the vehicle, and meet with people. Every vehicle listed is the fruition of likely two days of work. We cannot tolerate nonpaying winners and we do not make second chance offers. Please see our other auctions and thank you for looking!
