Vehicle Detail

Hello and thank you for viewing this listing. For sale is a one-owner 1997 Toyota Supra Turbo in good overall condition. Mileage is 41,114. This is a factory-built TT 6-Speed Sport Roof with modifications; the engine and transmission are original. The interior is in excellent, non-smoker condition. I will attempt to describe the history and condition of the car with as much depth and brevity as possible. I am the original owner, and I am happy to answer any questions about information that is not listed. This Supra is not and was never intended to be a show car, but its performance upgrades were carefully selected and installed over the course of the last 15 years. The car sat idly in storage for most of that time. Over 40,000 of its miles were accrued in its stock configuration from 1997 to 2002. All upgrades were brand new at the time of their installation. The car was professionally tuned by Dynosty of Louisville, KY. Its power output at the rear wheels is approximately 450HP. All upgrades have about 500 miles on them. It hasn't been to the track (ever), and I lack the experience to comment on the nuances of how it performs, but I can say that it is exactly what I wanted it to be: a fun car that makes enough power to entertain you without being impractical. The tires are bad, so I haven't actually experienced its full potential. You can drive hard and have a good time right away. Additional Disclosure and Notes on Exterior Condition: While the car was still very new, it sustained front end damage in a collision with a tree. It was professionally and thoroughly repaired, and over the last 20 years there have been no symptoms of the accident. Due to this repair and further paint-jobs (related to changing tastes), the car's current paint job is serviceable but not impressive. It looks good in low light and/or at a distance, but a close inspection will not satisfy discerning buyers, which includes most people in the market for these cars. I have applied touch-up paint to a couple of scratches. While parked on the street, a vehicle made low-speed contact with the rear bumper, near the left taillight; the paint is cracked from the compression. The taillight is fine. The impact dislodge a small portion of the bumper's mounting hardware; the corners are slightly disjointed (see photos). I've had it for a long time. Several of its miles are from city driving. All of the wheels are original, and they have been curbed. Other Notes: I painted the engine bay myself. Coverage is good, quality is not great. I also painted some of the chassis components while they were dismounted for various upgrades, including the control arms. The car is currently stored where I work; I can easily accommodate in-person inspections with a bit of notice. Additional photos are available. Summary: As stated and implied earlier, this one-owner Supra is enhanced with quality components, and it has been tuned by a highly reputable performance shop. As a long-term project that has seen its share of starts and stops, it lacks a level of "finish" that is common with upgraded Supras. This does not indicate a lack of care on my part; I simply decided that the project was finished when it reached a stable functional state with the systems I selected. Any sale will be final. You are purchasing the car AS-IS. Thanks again.
