This is a fully documented custom 1948 Triumph 5T speed twin built in 1973 in the Los Angeles valley. The bike was built for shows and ridden for a few years and then stored away in a shed until I found it in 2014 (along with its sister bike). Everything is exactly as I found it except for the tires, grips, Bates bars and Bates seat. The front fender is not currently on the bike but does come with the motorcycle! This is a 1 kick bike and the motor is STRONG! I was told by the owner that he lightened flywheels used 650 pistons and some custom work on the inside although I haven't had a reason to open it up. The transmission was just freshly rebuilt by Wes at four aces. Ive ridden this bike quiet a bit in the last few years and its always fun and RELIABLE, which is crazy for a triumph. MCM cocktail exhaust and other superior period accessories. The Paint on the bike has been of question as to who did it?! The tank is gold leaf and the pin striping isn't a home job. Theres no signature I have found but was told it looks like the work of Walt Prey?! I have photographs of the motorcycle being built dated back to 69-73 and copies of those will come with the motorcycle. Its registered with the original plates in California and read to ride!
