This is a gorgeous !984 V4 Honda Sabre. These bikes were years ahead of their time. 120 HP, smooth running V 4 engine. Great instrumentation, Speedo, tach,gas gauge, gear indicator, 5 speed. I had this bike painted about 10 years ago. Bike has always been garaged, I had Dave Dodge, who is THE GURU for these bikes (he was a part of Hondas' racing team campaigning these back in the day) do quite a bit of work on this bike including overall inspection of the motor, 195 psi leak down compression test all the way around, 2 new cam chain tensioner brackets,new (used) cams and rocker arms,V-65 top end oil mod kit,new O-ring , seals,and hoses,fork seals , V65 Fork brace,clean and rebuild carbs, front brake hose kit, and new tires,Dunlop 110-80 ZR18 front and Dunlop D205 140-80 ZR17 rear.The total tab for this work was $2463.00. All receipts to verify. Bike is a smooth rider, very responsive. My reason for selling is I am 75 years old, and think I'd not bounce, but would break if I fell off or had a crash.I have owned Yamahas, Harleys, other Hondas, Bmw's, Kawasakis, -more than 20 bikes in my life, and this is my all time favorite-and is my last one. I have already sold all the others. Also have a lot of riding gear, size 44 jackets, and men's large Chaps-quality stuff if you are interested (doesn't come with the bike). Bike has auxiliary running lights, Throttle lock, soft saddle bags, and a custom seat. Bike is sound as a dollar-I wouldn't be afraid to set out across the US on it.
