This was my home depot/ weekend truck for five years. When something went wrong with it, I fixed the issue. Since i got the truck here is a list of what i have addressed; fuel pump, carburetor, all 4 shocks, rear leaf springs, tires, Exhaust system with flowmaster muffler. rear tail light wiring harness with flat four trailer plug, repaired bed floor, rear brake shoes, front brake pads, new front calipers, new master cylinder, new clutch cylinder, install sony stereo with bluetooth, marlin crawler short shifter, custom built bed rails and tool box. Fall of 2015 truck slid into a curb and I had following repaired, upper control arm, CV joint, CV boot, spindle and ball joints. Seasonally applied "rusfre oil" to under body and frame for rust prevention. (winter time) LED lights in the dash and all instruments and interior light, drivers side window regulator, This is a great truck, everything works as it should. Usually when I see these trucks rust has reclaimed most of them body and frame. Rust is not an issue on this truck, body and frame are solid. Asian hubs have been serviced and lock and unlock nicely. Transfer case shifts easily in and out of 4 wheel drive lo hi neutral 2 wheel. 5 speed transmission shifts smoothly and has a marlin crawler short shifter to reduce the throw on the shifter. Entire driveline is tight with no noises. Brakes and emergency brake operate as they should. LSPV on rear axle was replaced with a wilwood proportioning valve to balance the brake bias front to rear. Charging system and electrical system are no issues, battery is as large as would fit in stock tray and 3 years old with plenty of cranking amps. Engine is 22R carbureted with high miles, it runs good and starts easy. AC is R12 and blows ice cold. Stock mounted digital clock in the dash. Instrument panel is SR5 with all working gauges and lights, instrument lights up red for less glare at night. Sony radio has mega preset stations, 2 speakers L&R under dash and 2 L&R behind bucket seats, an MP3 plug for connection, bluetooth for phone connection exterior microphone for crystal clear conversations. Tires are Firestones with excellent tread left, mounted on stock aluminum Toyota rims. Rear sliding window does not leak. Good full size spare tire under bed and all tire changing tools and jack properly stowed behind seat in cab. Rear step bumper and frame mounted receiver for two inch inserts, flat four plug for trailer light connection. Nice custom made bed perimeter tie down bar and locking 2 lid storage box with keys.
