For sale is my 1987 535is, Its a 5 speed with 101k miles Zinno Red on Black leather. Overall it’s a great example of a 535is that has been well maintained. Lots of maintenance has been performed within the last 3k miles. I have the original service book which dates back to dealer performed work from 87 – 93 as well as other maintenance records. The original window sticker is included as well as the books and manuals. I do have more photos of the car but eBay only let me post 24. Details 1987 535is Zinnoberrot / Black Leather 101K Mile 5 Speed Manual Clean Title Matching VIN tags on all body panels Complete Tool Kit Everything on the car works as it should: Windows, Lights, Heat, Seats, Sunroof Etc… Interior is in very nice shape, leather is soft and supple with no rips or tears Dashboard is cracked but has a very dash cap that can almost past for an original dash The paint is nice shape but it does have a few areas where someone burned through the paint ( It should be able to be corrected with some touch up paint ) There is a dent on the rear passenger side door as well as a couple door dings The car is practically rust free with the exception of the 2 seams on the rear valance that connect it to the side panels Overall the body is in very good shape and the paint shines nicely Suspension is in good shape and absorbs bumps with ease with no bangs or clunks Runs and drives great! The car could use a new turn signal switch as sometimes when the you use the left blinker it will turn on the High Beams, Also it could benefit from some new exhaust work. I have tried to describe the car to the best of my abilities, so please feel free to ask any questions you may have. Good clean examples of the 535is are getting harder and harder to find and I’m sure this car will make its next owner proud! It has served me well during the time I have owned it and I would not hesitate to make it a daily driver or drive it across country.
