Vehicle Detail

Hello there, I'm selling my 1979 Chevrolet El Camino. I had the truck for a little while and been fixing small incidentals, but like many things, its time to let it go. Here is a run down of the vehicle. Odometer reads 98,882. Passed CA smog this year with zero issues. Engine and trans wheels/tires - Has a 305 v8 that runs good and strong. No oil consumption problems or overheating issues. I would not hesitate to drive this truck anywhere. The transmission shifts firmly and downshifts properly. I changed the fluid when i bough it and everything looked to be in good shape when i dropped the pan. Has a nice set of 15" rally wheels on it. Front tires are in good shape, however the rear tires do not have much life left in them. Body - The body is good shape. All around the car is straight, however a shop light fell on the hood/ passenger side fender at the previous owners house. Resulting in a few dents in the hood and the top of the passenger fender. He attempted to fix them by touching them up with some paint(See photos). The only rust that i found was in the doors just above the lower hinge, its present on both sides. Its not major, but could be fixed if you felt like it. Besides these issues, everything else looks great. There is no rust in the door jam, fenders, or quarter panels. The tuck also has a nice locking fiberglass tonneau cover. The bed has a nice rubber mat in it, along with a sprayed bedliner that was put down in around 2002,. The sides all look good but there are a few places on the floor where is peeling off due to poor prep. Interior - Has the factory tilt column, and factory heat/ AC(converted to r134a). The ac blows good and cold, and the heater works well too. The carpet looks to be in nice shape, the head liner is clean aswell. The seat has no rips or tears in it. Im not sure if has been recovered in its life time, but looks good. All of the guages seem to work, including the clock, but gear selector needle doesn't move. It has a viper alarm system, and small audio system (with an amp and sub that was installed at a local audio shop) There are a few cracks in the dash pad, which seems to be a very common occurrence. I think this about covers everything, please feel free to ask me any questions you have. Ive tried my best to accurately describe the truc. (I know how frustrating it can be to buy something that was improperly represented) If you need more photos, please don't hesitate to ask and ill get them sent to you.
