Available for test drive and or inspection in Chagrin Falls, Ohio zip 44022. This a 1987 560sl that spent nearly it entire life with one owner. The miles are actual on this car and the trip meter does work as does the clock. Still has the original factory becker radio and the radio works too which is more impressive. Has the manuals too. Original owner had the engine rebuilt/ overhauled with new valve sleeves ect, undocumented but it runs strongs and holds excellent oil pressure at idle for a stop light. Currently the car is running and driving and I have drive it on a nice day without a problem so the millage will be a little bit higher than shown. This car starts right up, the idle control valve needs to be adjusted as it has been in storage for past few years. When in park the car idles higher than it should, once it goes into drive it idles without a problem at 500rpm. Nice dunlop tires few years old maybe 3-4 at the most no dryrot and excellent tread.The soft top needs to be replaced it is dry rotted but it is present. The hardtop has peeling in the clearcoat but it is not terrible. The car does have some rust over the two rear fenders and the drivers rocker panel. This would be a good restoration project that you can also drive whenever you want. The paint has been fully buffed out and brought back to a mirror shine, its not perfect but from 10 feet it does look good. There is a set of chrome fender lips that come with the car. These will cover the rear fenders completely.The heat works as does the blower motor, i drove it on a cold day and the defroster did its job up front and in the grass window in the hardtop. Antenna is present as is a additional one the factory one doesnt go up. The windows works, as do the horns, turn signals, wipers, lights. New air and smog filters. Brakes are excellent very firm and you have no question you will stop with this car. Steers nice too its pretty solid for its age and the suspension isnt bad at all. Engine makes nice power and this car cruises at 60 without any problems. When in drive the car idles with the engine oil pressure is just under the 3 mark which is excellent.The car has a clean Ohio title and a clean carfax report, it has never been in a accident.
