Up for sale is this beautiful 1985 Chevrolet Caprice Classic Sport Coupe with just over 30,000 documented miles. The car was purchased from a local Chevy dealer (Henry Batey Chevrolet) in Carnegie (Pittsburgh), PA. It was undercoated and rustproofed by Auto Armor when new. Also applied at that time were both paint and fabric protection. This sport coupe boasts an impressive list of over $4,000.00 of original factory upgrades, including the optional 305 V8 engine, sport suspension, limited slip differential, and Landau package. The car includes documentation for all the above (window sticker, owner’s manuals, rustproofing documents, etc.), as well as proof of actual mileage. The original owner kept handwritten notes of the maintenance that he had performed, and per his notes, the oil was usually changed yearly - often at 1000-mile intervals. Additionally, the car was inspected/ emissions tested religiously each year, even though it is exempt due to both age and mileage. This full-sized, comfortable Chevy is rock-solid, and there is absolutely no rust, rot, or scale on the car. The frame still wears its original undercoating and there is no rust or scale to be found on the frame or floor boards.
