Up for auction is my 1977 VW beetle convertible. I have purchased this VW convertible from an disabled elderly woman in 2007, and she was the original owner. She was not able to drive the car, so the car was parked until she sold it to me in 2007. She said the car was running when parked, but that was many years ago. I bought this VW and I stored the car in my garage in San Francisco, until recently I moved the car to a storage yard in Hayward CA. I was thinking about going to restore it, but 10 years passed and it never happened. I have to pay $100 per month for storage, it is costing me money, so it is time I have to let my VW go to the right person. The VW is complete and is all original, the motor spins free when I used a jumper to jump it, but I did not attempt to start it. Everything should be gone through first before an attempt to start it. The car has a fuel injection motor. Please review all the photos, what you see is what you get. I have a clean CA vehicle title, the vehicle registration is on non operational. No back registration fees. Winning buyer must contact me within 24 hours after end of auction to make an arrangement for vehicle pickup.
