I just repaired the power tilt wheel....i suspect when the entire a/c system including the evaporator which is in the havoc box was replaced not long ago,the tech who unbolted and lowered the steering column never aligned and reinstalled one end of the power tilt up and down motor driveshaft...perfect now,so all works on this car. I was in Tampa Florida 2 days ago before impending storm...my flight out like all others got cancelled last minute... This car was purchased to be kept in my sons garage there to be used by my wife and I when there visiting instead of renting a car every time.Our flight was canceled thursday at 430...i ran to dmv secured a temp transit plate filled the tank checked the fluids and took off...yesterday 22 hours later we pulled into our driveway here in NJ.Cars a/c is frigid cold.....heat is hot heated seats are hot.Boston sound system is awesome for a stock radio...has aux jack for phone etc.4 goodyear eagle sports recently installed...car was maintained very well since new and owned by much older couple wife was medical sales so high miles are from good florida flat roads.Has gobs of HEMI power engine runs as it did when new...No hemi tick or noises.Body of car is gorgeous, I see no door dings.Paint is shiny,and 99% of it is free from sun damage...Has clear coat damaged spot on hood and very little on roof,nowhere else.Easy touchup.A wax would make this car pop.The interior is in really nice shape with no tears in the seats at all.Both seats are full power.Ordered new without sunroof as many floridian people do.This car spent all its life in florida so ZERO rust anywhere of any kind.....and yes these cars DO certainly rust...Ive seen many up here with holes in their quarters.NEEDS in my opinion ...has extremely common control arm clunk when going over bigger bumps that even low mileage LX cars have...right front brake squeals when brakes are lightly applied sometimes, sometimes not,brakes feel great with no pull or vibration. I know these Hemi cars well.Ive had many and built a few 5.7 Hemis .My Hemi durango has 250k on her and my Hemi ram has 210k of towing miles and run like new.This one runs just like those do.My price is what some salvage yards are asking for just a good running 5.7 Hemi engine.Its firm.If you need a new one or perfect one or one for less money,this car is not for you.As i just did ...drive it home wherever you live.It used zero oil and averaged 25mpg at mostly 80mph.Non refundable deposit due at auction close.Of course sold as is where is.
