Up for sale is my 1965 Ford Mustang convertible. Quick history of the car, my father purchased it for my mother in 1985. He got it to driving condition and that is how it stayed for the 20 years she drove it. The Mustang has been stored in various storage facilities and garages since 2006. I recently replaced the fuel tank, fuel lines and carburetor to get it running again. It runs well for a vehicle that has sat this long. The car is not for sale locally as I don't wish to see it on the road or at shows. I'm going to set the reserve at 10k so no one will need to ask. Please do not contact me with trades, I will not respond. I'm going to list issues that I know of below, I will respond to questions as fast as possible.-Original 289 is long gone. It sat in out garage for a year or so in 85.-Top will need some tlc, the back window is coming unstitched.-there are small scratches in the paint from years of storage.-Tires will need replaced immediately. they are old and way too large for the car.-Has a transmission leak.Please ask any questions. $500.00 deposit due withing 24 hours. There is no door ID plate, since it was painted in 85 or 86 the thing was probably not on when we got the car. the convertible works pretty well going down but is slow/needs a little help going up. I took pictures the best I could under the car out in my driveway, tried to get all areas underneath as well as the spot where the transmission fluid is leaking.
