You are bidding (No Reserve) on a very nice, clean, well maintained fun machine...a 2002 Chrysler Prowler convertible. This is a one-of-a-kind hot rod, and is perfect was for someone who wants to have fun and make a statement...without even trying! I have had a blast driving this wonderful yellow machine. But it's time for me to thin out the herd. This is one of several vehicles that I have, and I've got the hankering for another machine, just don't know what as yet. All I know is that it has to have a motor and look and sound really awesome. The fun part of driving a Prowler is obvious...but stopping for gas, food, stop signs, stop lights is an entirely different matter. You won't be able to stay stopped for long without someone approaching wanting to know what it is! A thousand question later (and a couple of million pictures), you can finally move on. It truly is a attention getter, so if you want to be incognito...better consider purchase of some other vehicle. This is an exceptional low mileage example is the last year for the over-the-top factory hot rod. The 2002 model year Prowler was the last model year manufactured for the Prowler. Overcoming seemingly insurmountable obstacles (by corporate America), the Prowler found it's way from a design thesis of a young hot shot car designer, Douglas "Chip" Foose, to the Plymouth/Chrysler board room, to the actual factory production of this factory sports car.A total of 11,702 Prowler examples where ever built, with only 3,170 being the Chrysler brand (Plymouth made a total of 8,532) and only 1,436 of those were 2002 model year. Few factory options where available, as Chrysler loaded them up with all the good stuff for 2002. This Prowler has one of the only few upgrade options available...four factory chrome rims...not the silver painted base rims (note; the left rear chrome rim has some minor discoloration - about the size of a playing card). This Prowler's maintenance and upgrades (since vehicle's purchase) are: 1) stainless front Prowler nose chin guard via The Prowler Store 2) repair/upgrade to sagging window/window regulators via The Prowler Store - all Prowlers will have sagging windows sooner or later 3) Prowler trailer hitch via the Prowler Store 4) four new tires 5) high amp battery 6) K&N air filter 7) window tint 8) recent Mobil 1 oil/oil filter change. Two items will be in need of attention 1) one tire air pressure monitor unit (TPMS inside the rim of the right rear tire) will need replacement, and 2) installation of two front sway bar links (new upgraded links (two) are provided with the car) all Prowlers will need this upgrade sooner or later - an easy install with simple tools. This vehicle is located in a locked and secured, temperature controlled warehouse in Brenham Texas (Brenham is between Houston TX and Austin TX on HWY 290). I have described this vehicle as best and honest as I possibly can, and would like to encourage you to make and appointment to come and personally inspect the vehicle to your satisfaction. Or send a third party to view the Prowler. Upon complete purchase of the vehicle, purchaser will be provided with a clean, clear Texas "Blue" title, a bill of sale, any and all factory owner manuals, maintenance records, purchase receipts. I will also include four total one inch thick Prowler specific factory manuals (I paid $400 for the set) covering drive train, body, interior, electrics, etc. A $1000 deposit is due 48 hours of auction close (PayPal may be used for deposit payment ONLY). Balance in cash (or USPS money order - no convenience store money is accepted) is due seven days after auctions close...unless other arrangements are made with me, prior to pickup. I will work with whomever buyer designates for transportation of the vehicle from my location to yours. And upon special request, I can hold the vehicle a bit longer.
