1973 Corvette Stingray for auction. I bought this car as a barn find and was to restore it until I lost garage space and realized I don't have time for a full restoration. This is a TRUE 1973 with the original engine and factory A/C. This is a complete car, not just a shell or a rolling chassis. Engine has original A/C compressor, master cylinder, water pump etc...numbers match up to what was on the car when it was built. Car has original glass in it, roll up windows, solid frame, T-tops that DO NOT LEAK...Windows don't leak either...car has been in South Florida for the summer and is dry inside!! Carpets were pulled out by previous owner. Car is currently not running because engine sat with previous owner for too long. Did not want to chance damage by running old fuel or risking internals but we did get the engine to move at a shop by hand crank. Best bet is to pull the engine for a rebuild. Somewhere along the line, someone modified the rear end fiberglass of the car and took off the chrome bumpers, not to worry, can be put back to original as it is a true 1973 on the title. Or leave the rear end modified, doesn't look entirely bad, at least it is different. Car was outfitted for sidepipes but someone removed them years ago. Good chance to buy a '73 for cheap and put some work and watch it go up in value....like real estate, they aren't making these anymore. This car can be sold individually or as part of a package deal. I am also selling a 1976 Stingray that runs and drives but isn't as rare as this '73. If interested and for a price, I can end both auctions early and package both cars plus all the restoration parts I have put together so far. This is a chance to get 2 C3 Corvettes for not a lot of money. Motivated to sell them but I am not giving them away so please be serious about packaging them up. I have both titles sitting on my desk, buyer responsible for transport.
