This car is being stored in a storage unit as I do not want to let it sit outside in the elements. This is one of the cream puffs you've waited a long time to find. It is an immaculate, garage kept Grand Sport with original owners manuals and leather case, original 26 page dealer full color brochure, laminated original window sticker, and even original built sheet that has also been laminated. The 1467 manual transmission coupes are the ONLY Grand Sports that came with the bulletproof, all aluminum, hand assembled, forged bottom end LS3 motor and dry sump oiling system. All other Grand Sports (automatics coupes and all convertibles) have a regular assembly line LS3 with cast bottom end and regular oiling system. Also, the manual transmission coupes (not convertibles) came with a factory engine oil cooler, transmission cooler, and differential cooler. What does all this mean? 0-60 in 3.8 seconds and quarter mile in 11.8 seconds using factory launch control bone stock! Even under the harshest of conditions, these cars deliver and are incredibly bulletproof. It is hard to find one of these that has never been raced, modified, or taken to a track, this one has NEVER been to a track or raced in any way! It is rare to find one with such ow miles that is all stock except for K&N air intake which ads an additional 20 HP, and 27 ft lb of torque on top of the stock 436 HP/428 FT LB. Most of these have been butchered, raced, and driven by kids. This car has always been in dry CA climate, and always garaged. Only hand washed and waxed and it shows!! Paint looks wet when it is dry. Look at the refection's in the paint in my pictures below. I took some in the bright sun and some when the sun went down so that you can appreciate the beauty of this incredible an rare color, Jetstream Blue Metallic. It looks, starts, runs, smells, and drives like new. Suspension and steering is tight with no wandering or looseness, no clunks when going over bumps, brakes like new, immaculate interior and underside. All maintenance items fresh. There is no further break downs between other options such as Duel Mode exhaust (which this car has), or other options, but there is a chance this is a one of 1 built exactly like it if it was broken down further such as side stripe color, or various other options. The car from top to bottom is immaculately clean which is very evident, including underside, door jambs, and engine box. A machine buffer or machine car wash this truck has never seen. No faded lights, emblems, or trim, like all the others out there. Most have chalky weather beaten trim, emblems, weather-strips and moldings, these are all really nice and still supple. Car comes with original Heritage carpeted floor mats (and towels covered them) that have kept carpet like new. Not driven on gravel roads or in the mud or any type of inclement weather. Underside alone speaks volumes about this car. I own a high end automotive shop that has been in business for 20+ years and am VERY particular with all vehicles I choose to deal with. Car has never been abused, raced, damaged or driven by kids, etc, since built. All original body panels look great and paint is like a mirror. No rust, scrapes, dents, dings, scratches, and no damage on the immaculate original 18X9.5 front and 19X12 rear Competition Gray wheels ($395 option, see window sticker for all standard and options on this car). This car is absolutely exceptional through out. Body panels and paint are amazing. You can literally shave in the reflection of the paint!! In my 20+ years in the automotive business, I have rarely seen, owned, or driven a nicer built and well vehicle that is so fantastically preserved and taken care of. I have owned over 1000 Mustangs, Shelby's, Big Block's, Boss's, Pantera's, Saleen's, Corvette's, Roush's, Cobra's. Lightning's etc, mostly collector models, and rarely see a vehicle (of ANY type) kept in this condition. Suspension and steering is smooth and not bouncy or twitchy when driving down the road, or on the freeway. Does not wander when on freeway. This Corvette Grand Sport Heritage is appraised and insured for $40K on a collector car policy and it is $388 per year for full coverage and agreed value of $40K. Most insurance companies will do the same for you and insure it as a collector vehicle and it is only going to continue to climb in value if kept in this condition. Fully loaded and amazingly clean from top to bottom. No surprises or disappointments with this car. Jetstream Blue Metallic Clearcoat paint shines like new and has been waxed regularly (you can literally shave in it) and always garaged. It is drop dead gorgeous. Much more durable and deep looking than today's water base paints. Look at the reflections (hard to photograph with the glare from the reflections, so I took some pictures in the sun, and some in the shade). Never been put on a lift incorrectly, never been bottomed out. Look at all the aluminium components underneath, no gouges from bottoming it out. Door jambs, engine box, wheels, underside, trunk jambs also kept clean and waxed. It looks like it was toothbrush detailed since new. It has been kept in this manner since new. Look at the underside and frame rails. Many original marking and stickers still visible on underside. All original factory tinted privacy glass with GM logos. No dents, dings,or scrapes anywhere on the body that I can see. The only flaws I can even think of, most would never even notice...there are a few spots through out where there were very small minor chips that have been touched up with original GM match touch up paint and compounded (less than 5 and I doubt you will find them unless I point them out), rear tires should probably be replaced in the next 5K miles or so (car on its second set of tires due to age, not miles), and there was an insurance claim on the vehicle when it had 1K miles on it when it was less than 3 months old. Car has a clear California title with previous salvage history in the corner of it. What happened was original owner took the car in for it's 1st oil change at a little over 1K miles and a technician from the GM dealership backed into this car while it was sitting there, running, with another vehicle ( a Malibu) . No one was in the Corvette when this happened, but the driver's side steering wheel airbag blew as it was hit right at the sensor mounted behind the front bumper.. There was no damage to the body , suspension, or frame. In fact, the bumper didn't even crack, it was just scuffed. The owner of the car was so finicky, that he refused to let the dealership replace airbag and remove and repaint bumper. GM tech of 27 years that backed into the car ended up buying the car in order to keep his job. Dealership still ran the claim through their insurance. He kept the car until last year and 12K miles and has babied it to the utmost degree. It was fixed properly with new GM airbag and the dealership removed the front bumper and repainted in to perfection. I have had the car on my lift and even removed the bumper and can not tell in any way that any bolt or any component has been disturbed in any way. Everything looks factory. It goes down the road properly and straight. There is nothing else I can think of that this car needs or any thing else to really consider a flaw....No other paintwork anywhere on the body that I can see or know of. Once again, no dings, gouges, scrapes, or dents. Front and rear bumpers are immaculate with no dimples, scuffs, or scrapes. You rarely will see an interior this immaculate. No wind noise even at over 80 MPH. Again, I am VERY picky (I am told the pickiest person that all of my friends know) and believe in being 100% honest about each and any flaw or issue I can find and I go over vehicles very thoroughly. I know myself, that I want to know everything about something I am buying before I buy it, so I treat others in the same manner and respect. This car looks and drives like a 3K mile, 1 year old, well taken care of Corvette to put it into perspective. The Corvette Grand Sport is nicer, drives much better, and way better maintained and kept detailed over any other GS with a manual trans out there in this price range. Everything works like it should. Last oil change done 200 miles ago. I have put over 500 miles on this Corvette and there have been zero issues. I have owned and driven many Corvettes and this is by far my favorite. It is very fast, smooth, and isn't all over the road and rattly like the older ones. I in fact, prefer driving this car over my Z06 that I bought new. Much more street friendly, has the same brakes, looks and suspension, and has a removable hardtop unlike the Z06 and ZR-1's.
