Hello, This is a NO RESERVE auction. I am the 4th owner of this Quick, Cool, and Very Sexy Car. The Gentleman I purchased it from bought it in 1962. He told me he bought it from the Nephew of a high level GM styling executive, whose business card was later found taped under the seat. That card comes with the car.This 57 is an honest presentation of what a lot of Corvettes were like in the 60's and 70's. The Car has a 1962 327 with Rochester mechanical fuel injection, and a Richmond Aluminum Super T-10 4 speed with a 2.88 first and a Long's ball joint racing shifter. Car has both Tops. The 327 has solid lifters, Duntov cam, long tube headers, 2.02 double hump heads and more. Aluminum bell housing, light flywheel, new clutch and pressure plate. Body panels are original. No cracks. Paint is driver quality. Frame is undamaged, unrepaired, and has no significant rust. Runs and drives very strong. Unlike many C-1 Corvettes, this car does not rattle and rolls down the road smoothly. Chrome, Stainless, and Window Glass are all very good.This car's stance, exhaust note, and look all start conversations anywhere they go. Car is for sale locally.
