Vehicle Detail
Let me start by pointing out that this vehicle does have 151k original miles but has a Chevrolet LT1 V8 350ci engine and an NV4500 transmission that were installed brand new in 1996. Since then the engine has approximately 25k miles on it! It also has a spring over axle conversion. I have built several land cruisers through the years and the major complaint about them, if you will, is the lack of power. This Cruiser has had the problem resolved! The LT1 engine has tons of power and the NV4500 transmission is super stout making this the "best" possible combination for a modified Cruiser. It still maintains its original Toyota transfer case. This will pull a trailer or pass anyone on the freeway with ease. That being said this is one beautifully maintained Land Cruiser. With the exception of a small tear on the rear seat (smaller than a dime), and the frayed corner of the cargo carpet, this Cruiser has beautiful fresh smelling interior with no other major defects. (Please see photos where I have tried to document stains and other unsightly blemishes.) I bought it from the 2nd owner, a doctor, who babied it and who owned it for 27 years of its life. I had it repainted in its original blue color with the addition of color matched linex on the lower half for added protection in the brush. This is not your original collector vehicle but it is a vehicle that you can use and love and enjoy for many years. Buy this and go make some memories! ** I have not noticed any leaks or other concerns since I've owned it, everything functions as it should, better than its age. I think it will probably need new shocks in the future (happy to put them on if you buy them), the tires are in great shape with lots of tread, the aftermarket stereo acts funny at times but works, and the tint has a few little blemishes. Other than that please contact me about any other questions you may have. Id be glad to take it for an independent inspection if you'd like, at your cost though.
