Vehicle Detail
Will not list again, either it sells or I scrap it.2001 Ford EV, 9414 miles, garage kept, modified to run on 26 Trojan Group 31 AGM lead acid batteries and one standard Accessory battery. Batteries all need replaced, will not run without new batteries. Truck was parked inside in roughly 2008 when the 12 volt batteries were dying. Includes a home made lift on heavy casters to remove the traction battery from under the vehicle while supported on tall jack stands (not included). Has a professionally made stainless steel box with lid to hold the additional batteries required to use 12 volt batteries instead of 8 volt. Would be ideal to run on lithium batteries if buyer understands the requirements. The truck ran fine when I parked it (except for batteries dying) and I have done nothing to it since it was parked. Being sold AS IS, WHERE IS, buyer to make and pay for transportation and title transfer. Photo shows a green Manzanita charger under the hood. The Manzanita charger is not being sold and will be removed. The Manzanita mounting bracket is included. A really cool and excellent vehicle for somebody who can install batteries and use an NGS Tester (included). Battery technology has greatly changed since I last drove this truck. Comes with a cap for the bed as shown. Hardly driven, like new except for batteries. I paid 14K when I bought it from Blue Sky Motors in CA. First 5K takes it. I need space and must sell. No spare tire (did not come with one) Must be off my property and title transferred a maximum of 14 days from end of auction, unless special arrangements are made and agreed to. If nobody wants it, I will tow it to scrap yard and it will be gone.
