Vehicle Detail

The car and I have a lot in common. We've both been around the block a few times, we both could stand a little work on our bodies and my wife is sick of looking at either one of us. I bought this car 9 months ago as a Christmas present for my wife. It wasn't the right one. She wanted chrome bumpers so I bought a 1974 MG as well. She's never sat in either one. (I'm sucky at buying Christmas gifts). I drove this car around the first day and it has been parked ever since. I have started it a few times and it seems to run great (needs a battery). I am in no way a mechanic but my neighbor says that he thinks the clutch plate is frozen from sitting, which he described as a super easy fix and that a brake is frozen from sitting. He's not a mechanic either but his hands are always greasy so I usually go with what he says. The top is in nice shape, no stains, no rips and the windows are clear. It looks like most of the interior has been recently addressed, The doors look to have new interior panels, the carpet is in decent shape. the seats have covers. The dash has a few cracks but nothing that can't be easily capped. The paint has some chips, some rust and some bubbling but then again, I looked a lot prettier 37 years ago too. It has a snap down cover that goes over the roof when it is down. It also has a tonneau cover that goes over the entire interior and enables you to keep the top down and unzip the area at the driver seat to drive. It's in the trunk but I have never inspected it. Like I said, I know nothing about the car except I need to get rid of it but it seems like it could be a cool little driver. I'd love to keep it but I have a truck, a boat, a bike, I'm a stay at home dad to 3 little girls and I have my own business. What I don't have is time to mess around with these cars. I don't ship but if buyer makes all of the arrangements I will try to accommodate as best I can. If you have any questions please ask and I will try my best to answer. PS I am selling the 1974 as well. Keep an eye out for it!
