For sale 1969 Triumph GT6 Plus Great project car! I have to sell this car fast! It is siting on a friend’s lot in Pleasanton and I need to get this off his property by next Friday August 11. This is the first car I ever owned and was hoping to keep it and finish the restoration but I have no place to do the work as I do not own a home or have a place to work on it. The engine was rebuilt years ago and has less than 500 miles on it. It was rebuilt with a 10.5:1 compression ratio and has a Triumph “A” cam in it with Triumph headers and is very powerful and fast. The transmission is a rebuilt 4 speed TR6 unit also with less than 500 miles on it. This transmission is very beefy, much stronger than the original GT6 tranny. The interior needs to be completely restored except for the headliner which is in excellent shape. The car has been sitting for years as I moved from place to place hoping to eventually end up in a place where I could work on it but unfortunately this never happened. The rear brakes and possibly the fronts too are frozen so it doesn’t roll. Tires are flat. You will need a flatbed trailer to remove it. Also included are the original wire spoke wheels. The transmission alone is worth more than the asking price! I will accept ANY reasonable offer as I am highly motivated to sell this car ASAP! (P.S.- I put the mileage down as 150,000 because ebay insists on it but I don't know how many actual original miles are on it)
