This car has been a source of pride and joy. I'm selling because I need the cash to put down on a house. I wish I didn't have to. It is not a perfect show room car, and its not going to win any big car show trophies, but you don;t have far to go if that's what you want. It runs great, is a pleasure to drive (lots of power), and is a true head turner. The body is in great shape. I paid a shop to do this part of the restoration. It is 100% rust free. It is not packed with putty. The paint job was done 8 years ago, so it has collected a few chips here and there because I do drive it. Otherwise, looks good and shines up nice. The hood was not painted with the rest of the car. No one ever notices but me, but in the right light you can tell the shade of the hood is just a little off from the fenders. The vinyl top was replaced at some point before I had the car. It also shows some signs of age if you look close. The engine is solid. It has dripped a little oil since I put it in, but not enough for me to worry about fixing it. I'm pretty sure its mostly from the oil pan gasket. I bought the engine after a fresh rebuild. I was told it has L88 rods and pistons. I beefed up the cam just a little (without needing to make more mods to match it). I believe the rear gear ratio is 3.42 (not 100% sure). I thought I had a drip from the case and replaced the cover, only to realize it is the front seal. I did not get around to replacing that yet. Again, a minor leak - just a nuisance having to keep a piece of cardboard under it in the garage. The interior is mostly as I bought it. The seats are orignal SS seats from 1967. They're nice enough for me, but do show some age if you're looking for car show points. I added seat belts and the stereo. It has the SS dash and I got all the guages working and replaced all the bulbs. Clock in the console works too. The plate above the glovebox is orgiginal Marlibu (not SS). The seams are coming apart just a little at the top middle of the back seat where the sun hits it. Most of the rubber and trim was replaced by the guy before me, and is in great shape. I'll be posting more of the pics and perhaps a video later this evening. On Jul-31-17 at 07:23:54 PDT, seller added the following information: Be advised, I will be travelling Aug 2-8, returning Aug 9. I will not be available locally to manage title transfer until then. I will be available via cell phone during that time. Thanks in advance for your patience. On Jul-31-17 at 07:31:45 PDT, seller added the following information: Forgot to mention: The stock clutch could not handle the torque, so I put a Center Force clutch in after the 454. Now she can handle laying rubber and flat shifting through the gears if you're into that.On Aug-01-17 at 07:03:14 PDT, seller added the following information: I took a video of the car running. Give me your phone number if you want it.
