Hi all,I'm testing the waters here to see what kind of responses I'll get for my 2004 Mazdaspeed Miata. This my current track toy and started life as a standard street car. It can still very much be used as a street car, in fact there are days in a row where I still take it to the office and drive it around because it's just so fast and so much fun. Please keep in mind that this has been my track toy and there are standard wear items for a car used in such a capacity. That said, this car turns heads and still gets people saying how nice it is to be on the track. I just want to check your expectations of the vehicle. With that, and I want to put this up front, there is a lien on the car as it was refinanced a year ago. I owe 4500 on it. Still has ACStill has heatStill has a top (it does leak slightly in HEAVY rain)Still has factory Base unit and door speakers (no antenna)Not So fun:- Rear tires need to be replaced. #becauseracecar- Stock oil catch can and oil check (so a hard track day means you'll have some oil build up in the intake. This is normal and the best way around this is the FM check valve and an aftermarket catch can)- Stock radiator. Still holds pressure, doesn't leak, no cracks but its the stock unit. I plan on putting an aftermarket unit in there here in the near future.- Stock battery and charging system. Factory Miata batteries are a bit fickle sometimes, especially in cold weather. This may or may not be an issue for you but I wanted to list it anyway.- There is a lien on the title. Car was refinanced, I owe 4500 on it.
