Vehicle Detail
Good looking, great running little convertible. It has never been wrecked. The car was checked out from front to back at Firestone before listing. Repairs that were recommended have been made. Repairs included replacing the front wheel bearings, front rotors, front pads, four new tires, both belts, front end alignment and new wiper blades. Air conditioning system was replaced a year ago, with new compressor, lines, accumulator, an expansion valve. So now uses the new R134A Freon and is nice and cold. Engine runs great, does not smoke, ping, peck or make any unusual noise. The convertible top is tan (special order) color and is in very good condition. Had it up last fall. Original manuals and a copy of the window sticker when first purchased are included. The only things wrong with the car are the passenger porthole glass is fogged, the passenger mirror has some tan paint on it (looks like it has scrapped the garage door) and the odometer no longer works, quit working a few years ago. I have heard this is a common problem with the plastic odometer gears. The speedometer and all other gauges work. My father bought the car in 2002 at which time the car had 37,000 miles. Mileage at that time can be verified on the vehicle history report. The odometer currently shows 47,500 and no longer worked. The car has been in my family since 2002, garage kept, and only driven occasionally to keep it in good running condition. Since it has been driven very little it can't have incurred many more miles on it. The car is currently tagged and is sitting in my garage. I simply need to sale it to free up the space.
