1981 Maico 440Original 440 from Maico• On it's first original bore. • Very good compression and spark• Runs very good• Frame is in excellent condition with no cracks, bends or dents• Shifts smooth• Clutch works very well• Just removed original German Metzler tires and replaced with Dunlop tires front tire is brand new. • Fork tubes in very good condition had gaiter protectors• Fresh fork oil and fork wipers • Works Shocks with Ohlins springs also comes with original Works springs with some preload spacer options. • Fresh motor oil • Brand new air filter • New seat foam and seat cover • Renthal bars • Comes with Maico Only wide foot pegs and the original pegs• Maico only case saver. I also have original case saver to go with it and brand new front brake cable, an extra set of chain adjusters, the old gaiter protectors and fork leg protectors • Current California Green Sticker and Title What it needsThe jetting needs to be dialed in. It seems to run rich in the middle.one of the front fender bolts is broken offthere is some oxidation on the tank that can be cleaned off. This is a low hours/low ride time Maico with a cool vintage patina look ready to go riding or vintage racing.I'm hoping this bike will go to someone local so I can see it on the track.
