Due to 2 failed transactions on this vehicle, one a scammer and one an internet tough guy that reneged on our deal because I didn't have jumper cables, I've been forced to set a deposit of $500 at the time of purchase from the buyer. Also full payment is set to "Immediate" for "Buy It Now". Also the engine in this thing alone will fetch anywhere from $875 to $1400 here on eBay with the miles it has on it. Look it up. The price I'm asking is a steal. For sale is a 2001 Chevrolet Suburban K1500 LT 4WD equipped with a 5.3 Liter Vortec 5300 LM7 Engine. Vehicle has 154,676 miles on the engine at the time of listing. NJ Inspection is good through July of 2018. Right off the bat I will say that this truck has pretty heavy driver side rear damage due to an accident. The frame was not bent and it's very very VERY much drivable. Damage is located between the rear divers tire and the drivers side rear bumper and can be seen in my pics. Rear drivers window is complete destroyed and has been covered with plastic and tape. No water has gotten in through that spot. I will reiterate, THIS TRUCK IS STRAIGHT. No bending of the frame occurred. ALSO NEEDS BATTERY. BRING JUMPER CABLES WITH YOU IF PURCHASING! Now on to the good stuff. Truck has brand new brake lines all around plus brand new calipers and pads all around and stops on a dime. I put close to or over $1000 into this work. Engine is quiet with the exception of a very faint squeaking sound that I believe comes from one of the serpentine belt pulleys. Transmission shifts smoothly and the truck glides down the street with little to no vibration from bumps in the road. Truck has leather seating in front, 2nd and 3rd row seats. Front seating is also heated. Stereo is stock unit from the time of original purchase and there's a few knob covers missing. Only the front drivers speaker works. OnStar is fully functioning and needs activation. Truck has overhead 7 inch Monitor & DVD player for the 2nd and 3rd row of seats. Audiovox VOD 715 is the make and model. Unit works very well and audio can be directed through the stereo's speakers or through 2 headphone jacks on the unit. Can also plug an older video game system into it as it has composite and audio inputs. Huge cargo area behind the 3rd row seating and even more so with it out. These trucks are sought after by Amateur Radio and Stereo enthusiast alike because so many Speakers/Amps/Antennas can be equipped. Plus there's plenty of extra room under the hood for more alternators to power it all. Wheels are .... MEH. LOL! Stock but not too dinged up or dirty. Tires probably have about a few more months on them. Air Conditioning seems to work but probably needs a shot of coolant. Blows cool but not as cool as it could or should be. Interior lights come on when engaged by the Dome Override or by putting the dimmer all the way up but not when automatically when the doors are opened. Not sure what the problem is but may be a glitch with the BCM (body control module). Not too big of a deal. I think that's about all. Any other inquires please feel free to contact me. My girl of 25 years loved this thing and cried for days after the accident and started up again last night when she asked me to put it up for sale. :( Someone please give this truck the love it deserves. They really are great vehicles. So now to the pertinent's. Clean title from a dealer. Paid $3000 for this in 2015. Kelley Blue Book says $3,474 for this vehicle in it's current condition. Asking $1500 OBO since it's still very much drivable and the engine is in great shape with what I consider to be pretty low miles for a truck of this type and the age. Also you're getting $1000 in brake work with the lines, calipers and pads and the DVD system runs around $250 - $300 if you can even find that model anymore. I think this is a very fair asking price.
