This is a super solid, rust-free California car that I bought in Los Angeles in 2015, and restored in Las Vegas throughout 2016. It has been driven 9000 miles since the previous owner's crate engine install, and 1000 miles since the major bodywork and paint. This car loves being driven fast - it will cruise in 5th gear at 90mph+ without breaking a sweat. Though the original motor, transmission and cowl trim tag are long gone, many telltale signs of a real deal Z28 are here in this car: Factory-welded rear sway bar brackets, 8000 RPM tach with 6500 redline, wood grain gauge cluster, VIN tag decodes as a Van Nuys built car, A/C delete, 12-bolt rear end... It has truly come back to life thanks to a rev-happy Chevrolet Performance crate engine mated to a 5-speed manual and new 3.55 gears with Positraction. And the custom Mad-Max-inspired side exhaust and flawless Tuxedo Black paint are simply stunning.
