Up for auctioning is a unmolested 73 Saab Sonett III. It has 23,782 miles shown on a clock, not sure if it's original miles or rolled over. The car is solid for a 43 yrs old car. I bought this car about two years ago and my intentions was to give her a full restore but thing changed and I must let her go. All I've done is oil changed and replaced plugs, wires, dist rotor, cap, painted valve covers. Engine sounds healthy BUT it does need to adjust the carburetor before hit the roads. Gear box is shifting smooth through all gears. Interior is clean, seats are in good shape. Headline and rear panels vinyl does needs to glue it back. All glasses are in good shape, new chrome windshield lock strip installed about a month ago. There is NO rust through on floors or trunk floor(I did wire brush on driver & rear's floors and coated with POR15 ). Paint is a 10-15 footers and it does has lots of scratches and chips here and there,but it still looks presentable. Tires are old but has lots of threads left and hold air. There are few long scratches on rear driver's side panel(touched up). Also, a large dent under front sill on passenger's side(It can be pull out by a professional). It has a full soccer ball spare in trunk. Front wiring needs to be sort out. The car is pretty much complete except missing a rear bumper, but it looks cleaner line without anyway. Brakes are little soft but it stops(needs to check/bleed), It has a fairly new single exhaust pipe. I have ignition key but no door door keys. It has a clear California title.
