I have owned this great car for almost fifteen years. It has been cared for, serviced, never crashed (by me) and always garaged. It has new tires and overall I believe it is fair to say that it is in good condition. The driver's seat has a wear-tear in the center bottom cushion. The entry side of the seat has been recovered by a professional upholstery shop and the rest of the interior is fair. Trim is showing stress in several places and even though it still shows moderately well, I cannot say that it is in great condition. Also, I believe it is fair to say that I am certain that I was mislead when I purchased the car. It was an eBay purchase and the seller indicated that it had never been crashed. It has been in some kind of an event and that is apparent in the paint. The color has changed on the left front and some of it is flaking off. I can say, with a high degree of certainty, that no sub-frame or any suspension components were damaged. I simply wish that seller had been as honest as I am trying to be. After fighting with the airbags for several years, I gave up and installed a proper set of springs. The car gets amazing mileage, upwards of 27 mpg under freeway conditions at normal speed. For any who may not know, this is an aluminum block, V8, aluminum heads, quad-cam, four valve, fuel injected engine. It was a really advanced vehicle in it's prime. The Lincoln Mark 8 is still a handsome car and many have no idea of its actual age.
