1971 Opel GT. I bought this to restore but it's too much work for me. It's a factory AC car .Engine is a basket case.Transmission seems to go through the gears fine. Needs a lot of work but has a lot of good parts.On Jun-19-17 at 08:57:25 PDT, seller added the following information: There seems to be a skim coat of bondo over the whole rear section of the car. I don't know if this is something the factory did back then or not. Where it has chipped off, there is surface rust. But the body looks clean under the rest of the skim coat.On Jun-19-17 at 10:10:18 PDT, seller added the following information: I just noticed that this ad says it's a vectra! It's not!!!!! It's an Opel GT. Also, the inside is full of parts. I have not unloaded it. I bought this from someone who had to move out of a storage facility. A little surface rust on the headlight part but the bucket looks fine.On Jun-24-17 at 10:23:43 PDT, seller added the following information: Here are the answers to some questions I have been asked. Q: Do you have the key to the ignition and gas cap and doors? A: Yes for the door and ignition. The gas cap doesn't need one. BTW: There is no gas smell at all in the tank. W: Are there any missing parts to the A/C system - it doesn't seem to have the right center console for an A/C equipped car. A: I agree that the console doesn't look correct. However, it has dash vents. And, Condenser ( needs to be combed). Fan with evaporator. And some long hoses that go to the back of the car. It looks factory but not anything I've seen before. Q: Is the carburetor a Solex or Weber? A:Weber. Q: Do all 4 wheels match, and could you tell me the tire sizes (on the front and back if different). A: All four wheel match but have surface rust. Tires are all P215/60SR13 Q: Are all the gauges there, is the dash front panel intact? A: All gauges are there and appear intact. No way of testing them. The dash panel is bad. Q: Is all the window glass good? A: Yes. And all look good.
