For sale is a 1940 Oldsmobile salesmen's 2 door coupe. The car is a solid car with only minor surface rust from sitting outdoors all winter. The engine runs quietly and the transmission shifts smoothly. There is some rust through on the interior floor boards that can easily be fixed with some sheet metal and a welder. The brakes need attention. They grab and pull immediately with any pressure. Substantially all the trim is there even if not currently mounted on the vehicle with the main exception of the front and rear bumpers and the drivers side window. This is a project and I have started to turn it into a hot rod, but I have to many projects so I have to get rid of what I can't get done in a reasonably soon amount of time. Buyer is responsible for pick up and delivery, but I will assist at the point of sale. A $500 down payment is due within 48 hours of the successful bid. This car is also for sale locally so I reserve the right to end the auction early.
