Vehicle Detail

96 Normal 0 false false false EN-US JA X-NONE One-of-a-kind German gray market import bike. More than $5000 in repair/upgrade receipts. Utah title in hand. It has every option that was available at the time including: • Dual disc front brake • FIAMM horns • Keihan stainless steel pipes • Electric + kick start • Nikasil cylinders • Old-style, better-looking airbox Color-matched Heinrich leg fairings (these are ultra-rare and highly sought-after) NOTE: Odometer reads in kilometers. Mileage is about 42,000 The bike runs perfectly. There are absolutely NO leaks and it doesn't smoke at all. I have more than $5000 in receipts for work done to the bike in the last year by Ron Schmidt at Bavarian Motorcycle Workshop, including (but not limited to): ¥ Piston rings ¥ Cylinders honed ¥ Clutch ¥ Rear main seal¥ Pushrod tube seals ¥ Throttle cable ¥ Head gaskets ¥ Valve cover gaskets ¥ Trans input and output seals ¥ Trans bearing ¥ Points ¥ Plugs and plug wires ¥ Brake master cylinder ¥ Fork rebuild New tires (Michelin Pilot Activ) This bike is ready to go - needs NOTHING. The bike is NOT in mint condition—there are paint chips here and there as you'd expect from a 37 year-old bike. There are no dents, though, and the original paint is clean and shiny everywhere, including the leg fairings. All four of the crappy factory latches on the saddlebags stopped working, so I replaced them with some locking latches I found on Amazon (see pics). They all use the same key. Also, the tab that sticks out to make it easy to pull down the center stand is broken off (see pics). I just got used to putting my foot farther under the bike to pull it down, so I didn't bother to fix it. It's no big deal—I use the center stand all the time. Shipping/freight is up to the buyer. I'll meet your shipper to load up the bike, but all the shipping arrangements and costs are the buyer's responsibilities. Thanks for looking!
