Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is a 1993 Honda Civic SI. I've owned this car since 1996. Like all cars this age, there's some good and some bad. The good is that the car is still around after all these years. There aren't many of these around anymore. I think there may be some people out there who are looking for older model SIs like this one. It has the 1.6 liter VTEC engine. Everything is original, except the wheels are from a mid 1990s Acura Integra. The car starts, runs, and drives. The sunroof still works fine. It needs tires and a new windshield, which is crack and leaks in the rain. There is some body damage from years of use, and my yard guy tried to close the hood without lowering the hood rest. Noting major, but it's there. I've included photos of the damage. Also the paint has seen better days. Several years ago the motor started overheating randomly, so I suspect the head gasket is bad. All in all, whoever buys this car will need to do some work, but it's got great potential. Feel free to send any questions you have. Thanks and happy bidding! On May-31-17 at 19:24:11 PDT, seller added the following information: Up for auction is a 1993 Honda Civic SI. I've owned this car since 1996. Also many years ago I had the AC converted to the newer Freon type, so it still works but does not cool like it used to.
