You are bidding on a very nice 1953 R67/2. This is a fairly correct machine, with the rare headlight bucket and switches from 1953. NOTE: The engine in the machine does not match the frame VIN, but I also have the correct engine with the matching number (see photos). This extra engine, which came with the bike when I purchased it, had a seized big end bearing. The extra engine now has a crankshaft and new rods, rebuilt by Ed Korn of Cycleworks. I never installed the rebuilt bottom end, as the engine in the bike runs well. I am selling the machine (with the non-matching engine number) and the extra correct engine bottom end as a package. The machine has a new 6V Norris sealed battery. The machine also has passenger foot pegs, which are included along with the passenger saddle, but are not shown in the photos. The tank has been epoxy-sealed, and also painted and striped by Kent Holt of Holt BMW. Final note: a recent small fuel leak in the tank crossover hose (now corrected), bubbled the paint on the air cleaner (see photo). Manuals and parts books in the photos are included. Note that odometer reading of 56,786 is km, not miles.
