This rare 2 Door 5-Speed Jeep Cherokee has been in our family since new and has always been well maintained. The Original 4.0 Liter Six still runs strong and does not burn or leak any appreciable amount of oil. It has been on Castrol Syntec full synthetic oil since new. The drive train is in great shape as are the brakes and suspension. We just drove the Jeep on a 500 mile trip pulling a 5 X 10 trailer and it drove like it was new, getting 21 miles/gallon. Tires have a lot of life and it comes with a brand new 5 year Battery. The spare tire is mounted on a matching factory rim. The interior roof pad was changed 3 years ago and is in great shape. The Jeep had a fresh coat of paint in 2009. Now for whats wrong. Even though it looks great in the pictures, the body has its shares of dings and dents. It is, after all, 20 years old and has 322,000 miles on it. The heater and AC were working great until last year. We believe there is an electrical problem with the controls, so this will need to be fixed. The drivers door panel is missing the armrest, and the divers upper seat has the usual small, rub tear from getting in and out of the vehicle. This jeep has a lot of life in it. It can be driven as is, or if you have been looking for a 5-Speed Cherokee that you can make into an off roader, this is your Jeep. Either way we are sure you will be happy and have many years of fun with it. Because of its age and mileage we are selling this vehicle as is. The Vehicle is registered and Titled in Florida but is presently located in Greer SC, near Greenville.
