This 2008 model is no exception to that standard. The LTZ is the top of the Silverado lineup and is packed to the brim with all the features and options you have come to expect plus many more you might not have even considered. This one includes factory NAVIGATION, trailer brake controller, heated leather seats, rear defrost, and more! It's got a real 4wd system with 3.73 limited slip diffs so it can go anywhere you like plus hidden under the front bumper is an expensive WARN XD9000i winch just in case you get in over your head! This is no stripped down work truck either. It has power adjustable pedals, parking sensors, and the Z71 Off Road package that includes skid plates, special shocks, etc. The 6.6 Duramax diesel runs GREAT and has NO BLOWBY. The 6-speed Allison transmission shifts out perfectly as well. We can't find anything on it that doesn't work like it should including the big tow mirrors with build in LED turn signals. It also has a turnover ball setup which doesn't appear to have seen much use. Even if you don't need it, it's an expensive setup that only adds value to the truck down the road. Speaking of down the road, don't let the 258k miles worry you...it's barely broken-in! It fires right up and runs great hot or cold and most importantly has NO BLOWBY. Even the heated leather memory seats have no rips or tears in them nor are there any smoke or pet odors in the truck. It's clearly spent it's life out on the interstate racking up highway miles. It was just traded-in on a new one at one of the local Chevy dealers. We've had our mechanic check it out just to make sure everything is good and it received a clean bill of health. As part of a tires-to-roof redesign, these models, including the Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD heavy-duty pickup, received a substantially better interior with higher-quality materials, a more attractive design and better build quality. In addition to the attractive interior, last year's revamp also brought new styling, a more powerful engine lineup, a stronger frame and resulting higher payload and towing capacities. But if neither the bowtie nor the blue oval does it for you, there's also the remaining member of the old "Big 3" -- the Dodge Ram 2500.
