This allows big boost early in the revs and then changes pitch in higher revs to increase the volume of air necessary to maintain boost. In other words you have boost all the way through the revs which is a really GOOD THING. Note: Because this has been maintained to a very high level, the clutch, water pump, tranny and battery have all been replaced under warranty and done by the Dealer with only BMW factory parts.The car drives like new and shifting is a pleasure.
