This is a real Honda Classic. A V4 Sabre 1985. If you know these Honda V4's, you know that Honda offered 2 styles, the Magna and the Sabre. They made about 10 magnas for every Sabre-so the Sabre is becoming hard to find, especially one in this condition with only 18470 miles on it, The rear tire is like new and the front is 50 % plus. There is a small windshield and foot pegs. There is also a Brake Away throttle Lock (not installed) which is a $200 item, and is a real comfort to your throttle hand on those long interstate rides. The V4 is a real smooth running motor and develops 125 HP. There is a set of leather (aftermarket ) bags (not installed) which makes it convenient for raingear or an extra jacket, Chaps,etc. I have owned about 30 bikes over the years, Harleys, Yamahas, BMW's, Kawasakis, Hondas etc. I think this is my all time favorite bike. The reason I am selling is that I am 75 years old and I find I just am not as good a driver (rider) as I used to be , and I don't want to spend my final years all busted up !! Or Worse!This is a really nice bike, was years ahead of its time, great instrumentation , Tach, gas ga., speedo, oil press. all well lit so you can see 'em at a glance. I was not the original owner, so I don't have maintenance records, but it uses no oil between 3500 mile changes, oil looks clean, and compression is good on all cylinders. My guess if you buy this bike, it'll become your favorite bike too, especially if you live near the Blue Ridge Parkway.
