I purchased this X5 thru a friend of mine in a dealer auction site unseen. The vehicle is fairly clean but the engine appears to have a blown head gasket. I can turn the engine over fine and I don’t hear any bad noises but there is water in the oil and that’s generally a sign of a bad head gasket. I don’t have the time or facilities to deal with it so I’m selling for what I have in it. This would make a great project car for someone with the skill and overall it’s pretty clean. The body and paint look good and the interior is still in nice condition. The only thing that stood out was the drives seat cushion and that’s an easy fix. I know nothing about this car other than it ran and drove fine before engine issue. This is what I’ve noted. Title is clear. This is NOT a salvage vehicle.Suggested Retail is $5606 Car has never had airbags deployed Vehicle looks like it’s always been a nonsmoking car. No tobacco smell or signs of smoking. Body is nice with no real damage beyond a few scratches.Hood is missing front grill but nothing wrong with the hood itself. Wheels are nice but tires are worn. There is a full sized spare with matching wheel Manuals are intact and included. There is only one key. Dash appears as it should, but there is a working aftermarket DVD/Radio. The interior will clean up very nice and the only real defect I see is the driver’s seat cushion.Please make the deposit by Paypal. Cash for the rest at time of pickup.
